Following the tremendous buzz surrounding the launch of the Next Generation Certificate program, the Ontario Trucking Association was excited to hold the second part of the highly successful course in July – the OTA-SEEC Joint Certificate Program.

The two-part program, in partnership with the Schulich Executive Education Centre (SEEC), was kicked off with the “Business Race,” led by renowned motivational speaker and Eco-Challenge participant Yvonne Camus.

The highly inspiring and personal keynote addressed launched into a revealing discussion about rising to challenges, preparation and execution, and realizing the potential for greatness in yourself, your co-workers and in your entire organization.

The inaugural class is comprised of 10 up-and-coming leaders in the trucking industry, which is made up of large and small carrier members and allied trades and suppliers from across Ontario.

The program is designed as an intensive leadership development initiative for the trucking industry’s future leaders. The main objective of the two-part certificate program is to instill practical business leadership skills, improve individual and team performance, and drive business results.

Graduates will receive a co-branded OTA-SEEC certificate from the Schulich Executive Education Centre upon completion of the program.
