Executive Learning Centre
Located on York University’s main campus in Northern Toronto, the Executive Learning Centre (ELC) is a world class modern learning facility with lecture halls accommodating group sizes up to 50 and 70 participants and breakout rooms with seating for 8 participants in each. Additional lecture rooms, breakout space, and 300 seat auditorium can be arranged at the adjoining Schulich School of Business.
Each lecture room is equipped with:
- a desktop computer
- state-of-the-art audio video technology with an easy-to-use touchstone system that operates:
- an LCD projector
- built-in retractable screens
- DVD, VHS & CD equipment
- a document camera (digital overhead)
- wireless microphone
- built-in speaker system
- wireless presenter (laser pointer/presentation controller)
- wireless and wired high speed Internet access
- flipcharts and markers
A Penthouse boardroom is available for meetings and small social gatherings. The Fireside Lounge can also be used for informal get-togethers. The ELC boasts a beautiful 150 seat executive dining room and an 80 seat private dining room in addition to an enclosed patio and courtyard, ideal for barbecue functions. The private dining room also functions as a flat classroom for project based programs. Indoor parking is situated across the street with direct underground access to the ELC.
The ELC’s self-contained 11-storey hotel offers several amenities to suit SEEC’s residential programs or busy out-of-town executives requiring accommodations while on course: ELCaccommodations
